The answer to that became patently obvious during the recent demonstrations against Pauline Hanson and One Nation.

Student protesters hurled insults at her, calling her a “racist bitch” and saying she should “go to hell”.

At one point, mobs broke into a call-and-response chant of: “When I say Hanson, you say f*** off.”

Some were recorded saying they would “shoot her” while others said they would “kick her to death”!

Hundreds of high school and university students congregated at Sydney’s Town Hall to protest against Senator Hanson’s One Nation Party in a rally organised by the National Union of Students.

A number of other prominent student-led left-wing groups, including Socialist Alternative and Students for Palestine, were spotted handing out pamphlets and magazines to protesters and people walking by.

Socialist Alternative self-identifies as a revolutionary Trotskyist and Marxist organization. Its professed aim is to create division within democratic societies so they can be taken over by communism.

Protest organiser and UNSW student Avasa Bajracharya, who led some of the chants, said the protest was a manifestation of “the hate and anger young people have towards Pauline Hanson”.

Their hatred is largely based on the lie that One Nation and Hanson are anti-migrant, which they clearly aren’t.

Hanson, along with the majority of Australians – including many migrants – simply believes that we need to reduce the number of migrants to a sensible, sustainable level and also ensure that we only allow migrants into our country who are prepared to assimilate into our Judeo-Christian and democratic culture.

And if that excludes people from hostile or aggressively anti-Jewish/Christian environments, then so be it.

Responding to the calls for protest, Senator Hanson said schools should teach young people “how to think, not what to think.”

“If you want to protest something, protest why your parents’ wages are going backwards and the cost of everything is going up,” she said.

“The Labor-Greens government is selling out your future, and you’ll inherit a weaker, poorer and less safe country. Whether you know it or not, One Nation and I are fighting for you.”

In Brisbane, a grandmother in her 60s working for One Nation was allegedly bashed at a major agricultural show, leaving her with a broken rib and severe bruising.

She was wearing One Nation gear and heading to the party’s stall at Brisbane’s Ekka when she was allegedly spat on, grabbed and punched.

“She walked through the gates of the exhibition and was set upon with foul language,” One Nation Party director James Ashby told AAP.

“She ignored them, and as she continued walking they called her an ignorant [expletive] and that’s when they set upon her.”

The group was comprised of three young women and a man in their late teens.

They allegedly spat on her before the man grabbed the grandmother by the wrist, swung her around, and punched her in the ribs.

She is recovering after being hospitalised but is badly bruised and shaken.

Queensland Police said it was aware of the altercation, but no formal complaint had been made. However, James Ashby insisted the woman had spoken to officers on Friday afternoon and wanted those responsible tracked down and charged.

“You can disagree with someone verbally, but the minute somebody feels threatened with their own safety and life, that’s where the line has been overstepped massively.”

“I’m calling for police to find them, charge them, and for the courts to hold them accountable.”

Greens MP for Newtown in NSW, Jenny Leong (pictured above), told the crowd in Sydney that they were Pauline Hanson’s “worst nightmare”, directly referring to the One Nation leader as a “racist f**k”.

“We do not need more of One Nation in this country because we know around this world the rise of the far right is a terrifying reality,” Leong said.

She should have said ‘far-left’ instead of far-right. That would have been truthful.

One Nation’s Barnaby Joyce partly blamed socialist schoolteachers and university lecturers who encourage students to “hate this country”.

“Socialist teachers are making their statement and using the kids as a prop, and that’s very, very wrong,” he said.

He could also have asked: and what about the parents?!

Liberal senator James Paterson said primary and secondary school students “should be in school” and there were “better things for young people to be doing”.

“All they’re (currently) doing is feeding One Nation,” he said.

And that’s exactly right. The more people see these young thugs out in the street swearing and threatening violence and actually committing violent acts – the more decent people will support and encourage One Nation.

And, in case anyone – especially children – are unsure, One Nation is NOT a far-right political party. It’s where the Liberal Party used to be – at the centre-right of the political spectrum alongside the Nationals.

The Liberals under Angus Taylor are certainly heading back in that direction despite opposition from Labor-lite so-called ‘moderates’ including people like former PM Malcolm Turnbull whose spiteful rhetoric demeans the position he held.

All three political parties are trying to take back control of our country from the Labor-Greens alliance that is determined to undermine social cohesion and destroy our economy, led by a pathetically weak and truth-averse Anthony Albo-sleazy.
